# How to Play: Zombie Survivors

Welcome to **Zombie Survivors**, an intense, fast-paced survival game where you face off against endless hordes of zombies. Created by **Viraaj Sharma**, this game combines bullet-heaven mechanics with unique abilities, deep progression, and a scaling threat system that keeps the action intense until the very end.

## 🕹️ Game Mechanics

### Movement & Interaction
- **WASD or Arrow Keys**: Control your character's movement.
- **Mouse / Touch**: Drag to move on mobile devices.
- **[Q] Key / Button**: Activate **Heal** once your meter is fully charged.
- **[E] Key / Button**: Interact with mysterious objects or close modals.
- **Space**: Quick restart (only if you are in a valid state).

### Progression & XP
Defeated enemies drop **XP Crystals**. Collect them to fill your level bar. Each level-up lets you choose from 3 random upgrades. 
- **XP Scaling**: The more XP you collect, the faster you level up, but be warned—late-game levels require significantly more crystals or special triggers like the "XP Overload" phase.
- **Magnetism**: Upgrading the "Gold Magnet" increases the distance from which crystals fly to you.

### Scaling & Threat System
- **Threat Level**: Displayed on the UI, this tells you how dense the horde is becoming. Higher threat means more enemies and tougher spawns.
- **Boss Scaling**: Bosses (like the Striped Boss or Bob) gain health and damage as you level up. At high levels, their reach and speed increase significantly.
- **Hellscape Phase**: Reach 30 minutes or trigger special events to enter the Hellscape, where the world turns red and ultimate bosses appear.

## 💡 Pro Tips & Builds

### The "Frost Overload" Build
Focus on **Ice Orbs**, **Blizzard**, and **Frost Blast**. This build focuses on crowd control. If the zombies can't move, they can't touch you. Combine this with **Railgun** to shatter the frozen targets instantly.

### The "AFK" Build (Horde Focus)
Stack **Horde**, **Shadow Clone**, and **Fire Orbs**. This creates a defensive ring around you that kills anything that gets close while your buddies do the work. Don't forget **Gold Magnet** to pull crystals in without moving.

### The "Speedrun" Boss Slayer
Priority: **Seeker Rocket**, **Tactical Nuke**, and **Railgun**. These provide the highest single-target DPS for melting bosses before they can reach you. Use **Overclock** to keep the rockets flying non-stop.

- **Keep Moving**: Standing still is a death sentence. Always move in wide circles to cluster zombies together.
